General Certificates of Conformity

What is a GCC?
A GCC is an issuance of a written General Certificate of Conformity in which the manufacturer or importer certifies that it is a product not suitable for children and that the product complies with all applicable consumer safety rules and guidelines.

Why is this important?
A GCC certificate ensures that manufacturers have gone through rigorous testing to be compliant under 16 CFR 1700.15 testing standards.

When will this be enforced?
The US consumer product safety commission has stated all liquid nicotine packages must be GCC compliant by July 26th 2016.
